Born in Solace, Raistlin is the younger twin Caramon Majere were raised by their half-sister Kitiara Uth Matar because their mother was sickly and hullucinative. Raistlin retains a lasting devotion to Kitiara Because she practically saved his life at birth not giving up on him to die as a weak baby.
At the age of five, after seeing an illusionist at a local fair, Raistlin repeated every spell the mage performed. Raistlin's father enrolled him in a local school of magic, where he advanced and outstripped all the other students.
His parents were Gilon Majere and Rosamun Aelan-Uth Matar Majere.
Raistlin values Caramon's love, but dislikes against his over protectiveness. Because Raistlin was born sickly and lacked his brother's might, he learned to use his mind to compensate. Raistlin is cynical and not overly fond of people; he prefers his own company. He has a strong sense of justice and sympathy for the downtrodden.
Raistlin seems frail, but one is never really certain whether this frailty is real or feigned to lull his enemies into a false sense of security. He still speaks in a whispering voice, having discovered that this gets people's attention. Raistlin has one consuming ambition - he wants to become a god. He will use any means to gain this goal; he will let nothing and no one stand in his way.
Raistlin does not love Crysania. He desires her and feels natural feelings of protectiveness toward her but that is all. Raistlin has deep feelings for only one person on this world and that is his twin brother, Caramon. Any feelings of affection for Caramon are all tangled up with hatred and jealousy, but real love for his twin lives beneath. Raistlin is cunning enough and strong enough, however, to use his feelings and those of others to his advantage by manipulating his twin and Crysania.
Raistlin has a charisma that is very powerful. Thus Dalamar stays with him, even at the peril of his own life. Crysania is drawn to him, though she can't explain why. He can be very charming, when it suits his purpose.
Raistlin will not, under any circumstances, return to the Red Robes, much less the White. Raistlin is truly evil. He chose to be evil, and it is only because of his final sacrifice that he is rewarded by the salvation of peace in death.
Present Fifth Age:(the downfall of Chaos) A Dawning of a New Age. It is the Dawning of a New age. Raistlin has no more magic as was his sacrifice to come out of the Abyss. He has absolutley no more power cause his dear nephew practically made him get out of the Abyss by entering it himself with Tasslehoff and seeing the Gods speak. The only way Raistlin was truly going to live was to escape the Abyss because the Dark Queen was right behind him calling to him. Saying how she was going to torture him all over again.
