Tasslehoff Burfoot is what you could call your 'typical kender'. Fun, friendly, and very curious. He likes to look at the bright side of ever situation and never sees things as bad.
Like all kender, Tas (as his friends call him) is afriad of very little. Kender, because of their curiousness, tend to 'accedentilly' find things in their pouches that belong to everyone else. They do nnot steal, however, and if accused of such an unspeakable crime they will become very offended. Kender are called 'handlers' and don't realize what they are 'taking' until they find it later on in their belongings. If you're ever travelling with a kender and something goes amiss, just ask to see what's in his ppouches and more than likely that's where you'll find it.
Tasslehoff, first met Tanis and Flint in his journey to Solace during his wonderlust. This is a period of time when a kender goes out in search of anything and everything. This 'curiosity' struck Tas at the age of 16.
Tas's wanderlust was to create the 'great map', of all places on Krynn.
Tas happened to find Flint's booth of fine jewelry and stopped to admire a beautiful bracelet. Soon it made its way into one of his puches. Flint caught him and Tanis recovered it from Tas. They ate and drank together and the next day Flint found it gonne again. Flint and Tanis went off looking for Tas and ended up on three of thems first adventure together. The rest is history.
Flint and Tas became close friends, even though Flint never would admit to it.
Tas played a very important role in the War of Lance, becides being the adorable kender he was. At the Council of Whitestone, he destroyed one of the few remaining dragonorbs in order to make peace between the Qualinesti elves and the Knights of Solomnia.
Tas was also, good friends with Fizban the Fabulous, the god Paladine's human image.
After the War of the Lance, Tas, journied with Caramon into the past and future to help save Lady Crysania from Raistlin. Although, he as never meant to go with Caramon, Tas, was an invaluable help to Caramon, helping to keep him sober and his head on straigh.
Sadly, during the Chaos war, Tasslhoff Burfoot was killed by Chaos. He died nobally, knowing that when he died he would finally be able to tell Flint all his adventure stories. Tas was crushed by Chaos' foot.
